Vantel raises $2M Seed from Y Combinator, Inception Fund, Rebel Fund & top Angels
Vantel raises a 2 million dollar seed round to accelerate product development, expand the engineering team, and set a new best practice for how commercial insurance brokers work with AI.

Love Redin
CEO

We started Vantel with a simple conviction: insurance brokers are spending far too much time on work that machines should handle, and not nearly enough time on the advisory work clients actually value. Today, we are excited to share that we’ve raised a 2 million dollar seed round to accelerate that mission and build Vantel into the default operating layer for commercial insurance brokers.
Who we’re building with
We’re backed by Y Combinator, Rebel Fund, and Inception Fund, along with a group of angels who have supported some of the most iconic technology companies of the past decade, including Spotify, Airbnb, Revolut, Adyen, and Brex at their earliest stages. These investors know what early conviction looks like and what it takes to turn an ambitious idea into a durable company.
Why this group matters
What makes this round special is the mix of perspectives behind it. Our angels include founders, AI experts, and insurance insiders who understand both the technical complexity and the operational reality of commercial insurance. Among them are Lukas Saari, co founder and CEO of Tandem Health, Axel Ericsson, Thiel fellow and co founder of Callin, and Oliver Jung, one of the most successful angel investors of all time. We’re also fortunate to have angels from institutions like Lloyds of London and Anthropic supporting us. This depth of experience challenges us to build at a higher bar.
Why now
Commercial insurance brokers are under increasing pressure. Clients expect faster answers, clearer insights, and more proactive guidance, while the underlying work has only become more complex. We believe AI can fundamentally change how brokers work, but only if it is built around real workflows, not abstract promises. This is the moment to rethink the operating system brokers rely on every day.
Building alongside brokers
From the start, we’ve worked closely with some of the best brokers in the US. They don’t just use Vantel, they help shape it. Their feedback guides our roadmap and keeps us honest about what actually saves time and reduces risk. Building with brokers, rather than for them, is central to how we operate.
What the seed unlocks
This funding allows us to move faster and stay closer to our customers. We’re accelerating development, shortening feedback loops, and turning real usage into product improvements at a much higher pace. The focus remains on solving the 80 percent of work that keeps brokers away from the advisory role they value most.
What’s next
This seed round marks the beginning of the next chapter for Vantel. With the right partners and growing momentum, we’re focused on building a new standard for commercial insurance brokerages. If you’re curious what that future looks like, book a demo and see the difference for yourself.
